Ilse Gayl

Ilse Gayl - Co-Founder, Chairman of the Board of Directors

Ilse’s vision and leadership guided OneRain since 1988, from its start in professional services into mission critical software products and 24/7 real time data services. As a business leader in the hydrology domain, Ilse has participated in advancing hydrologic monitoring and warning systems for 20 years, successfully advocating public-private partnerships in environmental monitoring. Having served as a director of the National Hydrologic Warning Council (NHWC) and chair of the NHWC ALERT2™ technical working group 2006-2011, Ilse is dedicated to the ongoing growth and success of hydrologic monitoring and information systems. Prior to founding OneRain, Ilse founded Classworks, an Internet based training company, and developed software and business strategies for public safety information systems at SCC/Intrado. Ilse holds an M.S. in Telecommunications and an M.A. in Experimental Psychology, both from the University of Colorado.

 James Logan

James Logan - President & CEO

James has a broad based background in information systems management and software development across multiple industries. James is an expert in systems integration and software development and deployment, customer care, billing, core business (finance), supply chain management, and field support. Prior to joining OneRain, James served as a senior executive for System Surgeons, Great West Life Assurance and Annuity Company, Convergent Communications, CSG Systems International, and Tele-Communications, Inc. James holds a M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Colorado and a B.S. in Geophysical Engineering from Colorado School of Mines.

 Brian Loflin

Brian Loflin - Director of Finance and Administration

Brian is responsible for all aspects of OneRain’s financial and administrative activities. He has expertise in budgeting, modeling, project cost controls, financial analysis and contract management, specifically dealing with and negotiating the intricacies of contracts mandated with strict government agency requirements. Prior to joining OneRain, Brian was a Financial Analyst with Watkins, Ludlam, Winter & Stennis. Brian holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Mississippi.

 

 Jim Moffitt

Jim Moffitt - Director of Software Development & Data Services

Jim Moffitt is a senior staff member for OneRain with degrees in Mechanical and Environmental Engineering. He is a specialist in real-time data collection, transfer, and management. Jim is expert at science-based software development including environmental monitoring, groundwater, water resource and heat transfer modeling, and numerical methods. 

 

 Jim Seiler

Jim Seiler - VP of Strategic Development

Jim has an extensive background in evaluating markets and positioning products; establishing sales channels and marketing strategies; managing from start-up through profitable operations; raising equity capital through private funding/IPOs; and negotiating worldwide strategic alliances, strategic partnerships, and joint ventures. He has been a senior executive, founder, or co-founder in the start-up of five companies through significant operations, four of which went public and two were sold to NYSE companies. Companies served include: Deloitte & Touche, Valleylab/Pfizer, MiniScribe/Maxtor, Destron/IDI/Hughes-GM, VantageMed Corp., and CS Medical, Inc. Jim is a CPA with a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Akron with studies in law and taxation at the University of Denver.

 Rick Jensen

Rick Jensen - Software Systems Engineer

Rick is responsible for all aspects of programming and technical support for our web based services. He has advanced the Contrail Web program and continues to listen to our clients’ needs to support and enhance the product with more tools and features. Rick specializes in designing, building, and operating software systems in the flood warning domain and skillfully matches user to system.

 

  Mike Zucosky

Mike Zucosky - Manager, Field Services Division

As the head of the Field Services Division, Mike, an Electrical Engineer, brings valuable experience in job costing, cash flow analysis, critical path scheduling, materials management, estimating, and subcontractor integration along with academic distinction. His organizational and time management abilities encompass working on multiple projects with timely completion.

 

 Glenn Hetchler

Glenn Hetchler - Lead Integrated Systems Engineer

Glenn Hetchler holds degrees in Electrical Engineering and Engineering Management. His area of expertise is in electronics communication and test engineering. Glenn provides technical leadership to field integration operations as well as technical support to customers on hardware integration including sensors, remote dataloggers, transmitters, receivers, and decoders.

 

 Dave Pruett

Dave Pruett - Lead ALERT Technician

Dave Pruett is an ALERT field technician with ten years experience as OneRain’s lead ALERT expert. He maintains several hundred sites for local strategic Flood Control District and Emergency Management Office networks, monitoring rainfall, water level, and meteorological conditions using equipment from a variety of vendors. Dave has supported post-fire gauging implementations and repair/replacements of fire-damaged monitoring sites.

 

Scott Bores

 

Scott Bores - Field Systems Engineer

Scott Bores holds a B.S. in Electro-Mechanical Engineering. Scott excels at computer, technical, logistical, and field services skills to advance OneRain in providing custom installation of gauging and telemetry systems for flood warning management networks. He maintains direct control of project and inventory equipment, dealing with multiple electronics, hardware, and vendors.

 

  Phil Bissell

Phil Bissell - Field Systems Engineer

Phil Bissell graduated in 2009 with a B.S in Natural Resources/Spatial Information from Colorado State University.  Phil has future plans to continue his education towards a Masters degree in Remote Sensing/GIS. Phil started as an intern at OneRain, and now works as a field engineer supporing new gauge installations, gauge maintenance, equipment build-out, as well as supporting a variety of GIS projects.

 

 Pamela Chacon

Pamela Chacon - Office Manager

Pamela is primarily responsible for insurance and business certifications, contract processing, and accounts receivable. Pamela oversees building maintenance, office equipment, and company event planning. She contributes organizational and editing skills assisting several departments.

 

 

Zach Cain - Field Engineer

Zach graduated from the University of Colorado-Boulder, with a degree in Architectural Engineering. Prior to working for OneRain, Zach worked for a general contractor managing and supervising commercial construction projects. As a Field Engineer with OneRain, Zach supports new gauge installations, maintenance, equipment build-up and various other projects.
