DIADvisor™ Technical Bulletins
As a DIADvisor Base Station customer of OneRain, you are receiving this email as notification of important product and service information.
You are likely relying on data transfers with OneRain's Contrail® Data Exchange service. DIADvisor systems that stream data to Contrail for web display and/or data archiving, or DIADvisor systems that import data from Contrail, rely on the Contrail Data Exchange service.
OneRain is migrating its Contrail primary services to a new state-of-the-art SAS-70 Type II and HIPAA compliant Data Center. Part of this process is the retiring of select domain names such as gdbservlet.onerain.com and primary.servlet.onerain.com. The new addresses are:
primary.exchange.onerain.com
secondary.exchange.onerain.com
All other domain names used to access the Contrail Data Exchange service will be retired.
Action may be required to avoid any possible service interruption
Please update your DvCollector and Data Exchange DCS settings to use the new addresses. The migration will occur Tuesday, May 1, 2012. To assist in the migration please change your configuration before this date. Please ensure that your firewall allows outbound access to the new IPs to avoid any possible service interruption.
To update the DvCollector with this new server address, do the following:
From the DvCollector main interface, double-click on a defined connection to open its interface, disable it and close that screen.
In the Define Connection section, update the Primary Server URL textbox to: http://primary.exchange.onerain.com:8080/OneRain/DataAPI
Update the Secondary Server to “secondary.exchange.onerain.com:8080” without “http” and “/OneRain/DataAPI”.
Click “Save” (red disk icon).
Again, double-click on the updated defined connection to open its interface, enable it, save, and close that screen.
To update DIADvisor’s Data Exchange DCS with this new server address, do the following:
In the DIADvisor main menu, click Setup, point to Other Data Collection Servers, and then click Contrail Data Exchange. (Older versions of DIADvisor may refer to “Servlet”). The user interface for the Data Exchange DCS opens.
In the Current Connections section, double-click on a defined connection to open its interface, disable it and close that screen. This will populate the fields in the “Define Connection” section.
Update the “Server URL” textbox to http://primary.exchange.onerain.com:8080/OneRain/DataAPI, and then click Add.
You are prompted if you want to reassign the server address. Click OK. Make sure you do not edit the “Name” field or it will be assumed you are adding a completely new connection rather than editing an existing one.
Again, double-click on the updated defined connection to open its interface, enable it, save, and close that screen.
