The latest release of OneRain's Contrail® Inventory enriches mobile and desktop inventory management capabilities from one web-based central database management tool.

About Contrail® Inventory

Contrail® Inventory™ helps you manage and keep track of your gauge sensor network equipment and hardware via your desktop or mobile device from anywhere you have an Internet connection. Inventory is included with the latest release of Contrail Base Station and is available as an optional add-on module for OneRain’s Contrail Web hosted solution. Inventory supports mobile data collection for your field service technicians and engineers to track and manage inventory in the field, and updates back to the centralized database.

Contrail Inventory Version 1.30 Release Overview

This document provides a brief overview of the new features and improvements in Inventory 1.30 software release. Inventory 1.30 serves as an update for Inventory 1.25 version and provides new features and improvements to the existing software features.

In this release we have improved the user experience by creating better navigation, simplifying processes and adding new features and enhancements described below:

Mobile Interface 

• New logo and theme
• Includes new Action Bar to quickly make access common actions
• Action bar makes use of easy to understand icons
• Mobile gestures - left and right gesture logic has been added to the standard mobile gestures to page through long lists
• Ability to edit file and image name and description
• User can now delete files and images from mobile 

Desktop Interface

• New logo and theme to match Contrail tables
• Now supports printing of labels on Avery® 5160, 5163 and 5168 templates, or equivalent
• Updated help includes information about QR Codes, Label generation, and mobile gestures
