
Before upgrading from DIADvisor 2.70, back up your current DIADvisor database. This is simply a precaution. The installation procedure should NOT overwrite an existing database.
Before upgrading from DIADvisor 2.61, back up your current DIADvisor database and document the following parameters for your existing ALERT port(s):

Close the following executables:
When downloading DIADvisor from the web-site save the file to a directory of your choice. When the download is complete, double-click on the DIADvisorSetup.exe file to upgrade to version 2.80.
Start DIADvisor from the program group now listed on the Start Menu. It should start normally and re-registering the program should not be necessary.
There is not an option to upgrade to DIADvisor 2.80 from STORMWatch. The correct procedure is to unistall STORMWatch and then install DIADVisor 2.80.
Back up your current DIADvisor database (swatch2.mdb) and document the following parameters for your existing ALERT port(s):
If running, close the following executables:
Uninstall STORMWatch
Install DIADvisor 2.80 and then reboot your machine.
Start DIADvisor from program group now listed on Start Menu. The program registration screen will appear asking for your Customer Name, Customer ID and program configuration details. The necessary information is located on your original CD label, or may be obtained by contacting OneRain Technical Support at (303) 774-2033 or techsupp@onerain.com.
DCS user's will need to redefine the information on the "File Import" tab.
