Stormlink™ ALERT Concentrators
STORMLINK™ ALERT CONCENTRATORS are your standalone solution-based products for getting raw ALERT network gauge data via satellite or internet. They create a data channel to OneRain’s Contrail® that remains in a connected state, even if your base station goes down. Using Contrail, you can view your data from any Internet connection.
Now you can create the redundancy needed for your mission by receiving raw ALERT gauge data at any internet location. The StormLink™ ALERT Concentrators listen to ALERT traffic and send the raw data to the Harbor in real time. If internet connection is lost, the messages are queued. Upon reestablishing connectivity with the Harbor server, the queued messages are uploaded at an accelerated rate in the order they were received along with their original time stamps. The OneRain Harbor converts ALERT into finished engineering values, applies validation, and makes the data available via Contrail Web and other automated applications.
Connecting the StormLink® ALERT Concentrators to a separate antenna and receiver near a base station or at a repeater location creates a redundant system. If the receiving facility goes down, you have the added assurance of having your data feed up, running, and visible on Contrail Web from any internet connection.
If you require a system with no local base station, the StormLink™ ALERT Concentrators are the right solution for a remote base station with OneRain’s Harbor as its primary database.
